Working on HARDlight titles before & after they are released. You’ll be responsible for testing our titles to ensure they are free from any ‘bugs’ and giving feedback on playability as the team strives for quality. The successful candidate will be involved in many areas of our digital title production. You will also provide feedback on test team performance to the Lead QA Tester in order to maximise productivity and identify areas of development or training needs.
Senior UI Artist
As a HARDlight Senior UI Artist, you will work closely with all Production teams to concept, prototype and produce the UI for our games as well as developing 2D and 3D assets such as icons and illustrations for use in the games interface. In an industry that thrives on its user-interfaces, candidates will be expected to create high fidelity and visually appealing game user-interfaces to deliver the best end-user experience.
Technical UI Artist
As a HARDlight Technical UI Artist, you will work closely with the UI team to prototype and produce the UI for our games within Unity’s UI toolset. You will bridge the gap between art and code and ensure the game UI is implemented efficiently and optimally on all devices. In an industry that thrives on its user-interfaces, candidates will be expected to create high fidelity and visually appealing game user-interfaces to deliver the best end-user experience.
As a UI Artist you are the driving force behind all our User Interface visuals. Your talent and attention to detail will be guiding our players through the games meta with crystal clarity and beautiful 2D and 3D artwork. Work within a small team of like-minded individuals and communicate your passion for games through stunning visuals and graphic design.
Artist x 2 (Contract)
As a SEGA HARDlight Artist, you will work with the Art Team to concept, prototype and produce 3D and 2D artwork for all our games. In an industry that thrives on its visuals, you will be expected to create high fidelity and visually appealing game visuals to deliver the best end-user experience at one of the UK’s leading developers & international publishers.
We are currently looking for 2 Artists on full time contracts that will be for a minimum of 3 months.
As a junior engineer you are SEGA HARDlight's investment in the future. You are eager to learn and develop your engineering skills, following the company tech standards and understanding the motivation behind them.
You will actively contribute to the project at hand and receive support and mentoring by senior engineering staff, applying yourself and attempting to solve problems before seeking help.
As a lead engineer you will be essential in taking titles through development, to release and live operation. You will lead the engineering team to achieve project goals and deliver high quality game experience whilst help with planning, work estimation, resource requirements and tasks scheduling whilst overseeing and mentoring team members.
As an experienced engineer you will be instrumental in project success and driving company technology forward. You will be expected to adhere to, and actively encourage, good engineering practices and company tech standards. Above all else, passion and enthusiasm for making games are essential! You care about the games we are making and how they can be better!
