Senior UI Artist
As a HARDlight Senior UI Artist, you will work closely with all Production teams to concept, prototype and produce the UI for our games as well as developing 2D and 3D assets such as icons and illustrations for use in the games interface. In an industry that thrives on its user-interfaces, candidates will be expected to create high fidelity and visually appealing game user-interfaces to deliver the best end-user experience.
As a UI Artist you are the driving force behind all our User Interface visuals. Your talent and attention to detail will be guiding our players through the games meta with crystal clarity and beautiful 2D and 3D artwork. Work within a small team of like-minded individuals and communicate your passion for games through stunning visuals and graphic design.
Technical UI Artist
As a HARDlight Technical UI Artist, you will work closely with the UI team to prototype and implement the UI for our games within Unity’s UI toolset. You will bridge the gap between art and code and ensure the game UI is implemented efficiently and optimally on all devices. In an industry that thrives on its user-interfaces, candidates will be expected to create high fidelity and visually appealing game user-interfaces to deliver the best end-user experience.
As a lead engineer you will be essential in taking titles through development, to release and live operation. You will work as a key member of the engineering team to design and implement game systems and project features whilst ensuring collaboration among the rest of the engineering team to best conceive and maintain a high standard of technical architecture.
Senior Software Engineer
As a senior engineer you will be instrumental in taking game titles through development, to release and live operation. You will work as a key member of the engineering team to design and implement game systems and project features whilst collaborating with the Engineer Lead to conceive and maintain a high standard of technical architecture.
Experienced Software Engineer
As an experienced engineer you will be instrumental in project success and driving company technology forward. You will be expected to adhere to, and actively encourage, good engineering practices and company tech standards. Above all else, passion and enthusiasm for making games are essential! You care about the games we are making and how they can be better!
The Data Scientist role will work within SEGA’s HARDlight studio with a focus on mobile games. You’ll work closely with the game teams to produce actionable insights from data and machine learning models, provide ongoing analyses to assist live-ops and game leads, and ensure that the direction of ongoing development is backed up by metrics and behavioural data. You’ll be encouraged to take the initiative with analyses or Data Science products, to collaborate with other Data Scientists within SEGA of Europe’s studios, and to challenge assumptions and test hypotheses to help create the best experience for our players.
3D Game Artist
SEGA HARDlight is looking for a 3D games artist to focus on environment and in-game art. You will help drive the artistic and world vision by creating highly compelling artwork that meets the visual and technical requirements of the game whilst serving as the benchmark for artistic excellence.
The ideal candidate should possess a mobile first attitude with strong art direction and visual communication skills. They should also have experience in creating art for casual, cartoon, stylized and mid-core mobile games. We look for T-shaped candidates who excel in at least one discipline such as environment modelling and are also capable to help out on other related tasks if required.
QA Technician (4 month fixed term contract)
Working on HARDlight titles before & after they are released, you’ll be responsible for testing our titles to ensure they are free from any ‘bugs’ and giving feedback on playability as the team strives for quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in many areas of our digital title production.
